Walki Plasbel continues to expand its logistics network with the launch of a new Logistics Hub located alongside the newly opened Arco Noroeste expressway. Located approximately 14 kilometres from its manufacturing plant in Alcantarilla, the new facility will centralise the company’s distribution operations in a strategic location with direct access to the main expressway corridors connecting northern and southern Spain.
This investment strengthens the company’s logistics capabilities, enabling it to respond more efficiently to growing domestic and international demand, optimise goods management and improve response times for customers across Europe and North Africa.
A Strategic Investment to Support Continued Growth
The new logistics hub forms part of Walki Plasbel’s expansion strategy and addresses the need for a more modern, spacious and efficient infrastructure to manage the company’s increasing activity.
Currently, Walki Plasbel operates two logistics centres located in Alcantarilla and Sangonera la Seca. The new facility will consolidate operations into a single site specifically designed to enhance day-to-day efficiency while increasing storage and distribution capacity.
The logistics platform will provide 22,600 m² of built space and has been designed to deliver a more agile, secure and fully traceable logistics operation. From this new hub, products manufactured at the Alcantarilla plant will be coordinated and supplied to the company’s key domestic and international markets.
Greater Logistics Efficiency and Enhanced Customer Service
One of the primary objectives of the new facility is to improve the logistics experience for customers, transport operators and internal teams alike.
Its strategic location, with direct access to major transport routes, will significantly streamline loading and unloading operations, reducing waiting times and improving operational flow for drivers.
In addition, the consolidation of logistics activities will enable Walki Plasbel to improve coordination, minimise disruptions and increase overall operational efficiency, providing a faster and more flexible response to market requirements.
The new facility is equipped with an advanced warehouse management system that optimises logistics operations, enhances product tracking and traceability and streamlines order fulfilment and inventory management.
